International students who have attended high school or a secondary school outside of the United States need to have their transcripts evaluated by a company that evaluates credentials. This includes countries whose primary language is English such as the UK or Canada, as their educational system measures courses in different units than semester or quarter hours.
Below are two recommendations for companies that evaluate transcripts. A course-by-course evaluation is necessary to transfer credits into Doane. Students who don't have transfer credit can request the Degree+ GPA option. Final evaluations need to be sent directly to Doane University from the company selected. Fees vary from $120-$270. An evaluation can take from 3 business days up to a month or more. We recommend starting the evaluation process as early as possible.
