Fitness Classes for Faculty and Staff

Doane University is offering two fitness classes for faculty and staff at great rates!  All fitness levels are welcome.  Come join us for fitness and fun.  

 Tiger Tone Up – 14 Class Session - A fun and friendly fitness class offering overall body toning with an emphasis on the core.  Thirty minutes of metabolism boosting, stress reducing, fun, tailored to your fitness level! This class will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm,  for a total of 14 classes.   The location will be in the Haddix Weight Room.  The cost will be $25 per person.  Instructor will be Jessica Kirkpatrick. 

Yoga – 12 Class Session - A workout for body, mind and spirit.   Develop balance, build strength and increase flexibility while reducing stress, finding your inner calm, and heightening your awareness!  This class will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm,  for a total of 12 classes.  Class will be held in the Haddix Dance Room.  The cost will be $15 per person. Yoga mats will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own.  Instructor will be Traci Phipps.


To register for one or both classes, please RSVP to Sylvia Coleman in the Business Office.  Payment is due at the time of registration.   All participants are required to sign a liability waiver. If you have signed the liability waiver previously, a new waiver is not required.                     

 In order to offer these classes, a minimum enrollment requirement must be reached – sign up today!  Reimbursement is provided if the minimum enrollment is not met.
