Dear Doane Community,
The Learning Commons (LC) and Library will be closed for Winter Break to non-LC staff beginning at 5pm on November 25th. We currently plan to reopen at 9am on Monday, January 11th.
For everyone’s safety, the 24/7 Computer Lab attached to the Learning Commons will also be closed over the break. Students who will be remaining on campus and need to check out a laptop for break can contact the library at [email protected] to set up a time to pick up a machine.
During this time, the following services will be available:
InterLibrary Loan - Requested articles and chapters will still be delivered electronically. Requests for physical items will still be considered, but may be limited based on availability of other libraries.
Check out of Perkins Library materials - please email [email protected] if you need to check out an item from our collection. We’ll work with you to set up a time to come pick it up, or arrange another way to get it to you.
Virtual research help by appointment. Make an appointment with a librarian on our Research Assistance page.
